This ultra-high solids epoxy is qualified by the United States Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA®) for use on potable water tanks as the only product that passes NAVSEA tests for six classes of tanks, including fuel tanks, seawater ballast tanks, chemical holding tanks, bilges, well deck overheads and potable or freshwater tanks.

PPG PSX 700 is approved by the U.S. Coast Guard and U.S. Navy. PPG PSX 700 SG is approved by the U.S. Navy, included in PPG’s contract by the U.S. Navy Military Sealift Command (MSC), and qualified to Mil-PRF-24635 E Types V & VI, Class 2, Grade B.


This versatile ultra-high solids epoxy for cold weather application has protected U.S. Navy Military Sealift Command (MSC) Vessels for over 12 years and is qualified to MIL-PRF-23236, Type 7, Classes 5, 7, 17. Protect the steel from rusting on your vessel in the underwater hull, exterior above the waterline, interior decks and bulkheads, tank linings and bilges.


Solvent-free epoxy phenolic technology with proven anticorrosive properties was designed specifically for the underwater hull of ice going and ice breaking vessels. This single coat system has excellent abrasion and impact resistance, mechanical anti-fouling properties and a low coefficient of friction.


With 30+ years of proven performance, this antifouling coating is made for underwater hulls and is suitable for a wide range of operating environments. PPG ABC 3 is qualified to MIL-PRF-24647, Type II with controlled ablation rate, unique binder formulation, no maximum time to launch, and a tin-free formulation.
